Gray Cleveland Days

To hazy gray Cleveland days,
Amazing all with speckled grace,
With bits of light, and coming night,
A sight which might but never stays.

To hazy gray Cleveland days,
Blessing all with gifts of rain.
With rolling clouds, and softened sounds,
They move across our thankless face.

To hazy gray Cleveland days,
Oh how we wish to hate them so.
But somewhere in our broken hearts,
They comfort us in silent space.

To hazy gray Cleveland days,
Blessing all with quiet grace.
Whispering in hushed ways,
The Beauty in these Cleveland days

To hazy gray Cleveland days,
Watering our hopeful gaze.
For when the sun comes back again,
We know and love the more this place.
