"Not all are called to be artists in the specific sense of the term. Yet, as Genesis has it, all men and women are entrusted with the task of crafting their own life: in a certain sense, they are to make of it a work of art, a masterpiece."
St. Pope John Paul II
PHASE 2
Expansion
Once we have solid editorial and economic models for our publishing arms, we can begin helping more artists and begin serving good institutions which share our aims. The beginning of the Bonfire Institute and the dissemination to the masses of the great books model of education will be foremost on our minds during this time.
Launch the Bonfire Institute Development on this has already begun but it has to be just right. There is a great deal of good to be gained by helping people engage with the great books. Efforts around the country are already underway and we want to contribute by creating something which adults can move through effectively in their own time. If you want to help develop this platform please reach out. We need other good software developers since we only got one so far and he is a bit ADD (it’s me)
Help great book schools around the country publish their curriculums under one place and have the ability to have their own additions.
Start the bonfire magazine
Host our first Bonfire Feast
Host first gala fundraiser

PHASE 3
Distributed Expansion
The goal of this first phase is to set in order models for publishing artwork that are sound from an editorial and economic perspective.
Recording Studios We want others to own their own stuff so we will put our resources towards building studios with 0% interest loans to those who share our aims and have a talent and desire to understand the art of audio production.
Bonfire Houses Go read “The Place of the Feast” section to get an idea of what these houses will be in part. Additionally they will be places for like minded individuals to gather, the third place so needed in society today. A place where art is disseminated and created.
Print on Demand Presses This one is particularly close to our hearts (well at least Michael’s), since the production models for books are closely tied to this model of production. There are only a few POD services but the technology is incredible and able to be replicated across the country by individuals with a bit of technical knowhow and a desire to have their own business. The goal would be to provide them with the means necessary to build their own mini POD setup to print books, magazines and other such things on a small scale, while also providing a community which is interested in the works being produced and so slowly but surely building little spokes around the country. There is a lot of work to be done here but I am confident it can be done and if you want a fuller explanation of this idea just ask Michael.
Production & Fulfillment centers Just as with the printing presses, the goal would be to find people interested in the production of artisan goods (clothing to timber framing) and provide them with the means to and models of building those businesses as well as providing them with a community that wishes to support the efforts of renewing our world in Justice or dying trying to do so.
“The power of the Good has taken refuge in the nature of the Beautiful”.
