Alexander T. Brown
Chaplain to the Lord Prefect of Notting Hill
They say that a great author comes around only once a generation. If that is the case, then Alex would love to meet him.
Alex began writing to delve into the beautiful, to experience far away places, and to express humble thoughts. Whether essay or fiction, his writings comprise a journal in which he keeps casual observations of the human condition. Mostly, Alex’s observations are informed by Tolkien, Chesterton, Belloc, Scripture, Western classics, and philosophy all of which he studied at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.
Presently, Alex is concluding his graduate studies by researching his thesis, “In the Beginning was Ilúvatar: Scriptural Images and Theological Themes in the Silmarillion.” When not daydreaming, tinkering, or writing, Alex is an ordained Roman Catholic Deacon. Actually, even while doing those things, Alex is still a deacon because of the whole ontological change thing.
